عقيقة · Aqiqah

Congratulations.We'll take the rest.

Mabrouk on your newborn. Pick the animal here, then we'll take you down to the baby's name and the day — two short steps and it's done.

What the tradition asks

Simple, and we guide it.

If this is your first Aqiqah, nothing here is obvious. We will tell you what is expected, what is optional, and what most families in Cairo actually do.

Boy
Two animals

The sunnah for a boy is two animals. Many families split one for the household and one to give away.

Girl
One animal

One animal for a girl. Same preparation, same care, same delivery day.

Day
The seventh

Counted from the day of birth. If the day passes, it is still valid — we simply schedule the nearest date.

Step 2 · the baby and the day

Who is it for, and when?

Write the baby's name and the day — we say the name at the slaughter and plan around your date. Everything travels with your order, so nobody has to ask you twice.
