Every order leaves one place, the farm, and the distance to your area decides the route and the timing. Eastern Cairo is closest; the western cities are furthest and travel on a single daily run. Meat is chilled and packed for the journey before it leaves, and cut shares stay in separate labelled groups so a driver never has to divide anything at a door. Addresses in Cairo are mostly inside gated compounds, which means the useful information is not the street but the compound name, the unit number and a phone that will be answered — security almost always calls the unit before letting a vehicle in. For venues we deliver to the service entrance at the prep time the kitchen names, not at the start of the event. If a delivery is going to be late you will hear it from us before you have to ask. Routes across Greater Cairo
The eastern cities — New Cairo, the Fifth Settlement, Madinaty, Rehab, Shorouk, Obour, the New Administrative Capital and Katameya — are the shortest runs and the most flexible. Central Cairo (Nasr City, Heliopolis, Nozha, Ain Shams, Downtown, Zamalek) is a traffic problem rather than a distance problem, so we commit to a window rather than a clock time. Maadi, Mokattam and Helwan leave the farm early so the meat travels in the cool of the morning. Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October, Giza, Dokki, Mohandessin, Haram and Faisal are served by the west-Cairo run.
Gated compounds and towers
Compound gates are the single biggest cause of late deliveries in Cairo, and the fix is information rather than speed. Give the compound name as the gate knows it, the group or phase and the unit or villa number, and make sure the phone on the order is the one that will be answered during the delivery hour. For towers, the building number and the floor matter more than the street name. For villa plots, the plot number is often not on a sign, so a landmark helps.
Venues, halls and hotel kitchens
Professional kitchens want the delivery at prep time, at a service entrance, to a named receiver who signs for it. Give us that name and number when you book and the handover takes minutes. Home gatherings are the opposite: earlier is better, and portions need to fit a domestic fridge. Outdoor and farm-style parties often want whole animals uncut, which changes how we prepare and load the order, so it has to be agreed in advance.
