What we do
This is the service families ask for when the occasion is not specifically an Aqiqah or a Walimah: a new home, a vow fulfilled, a charity meal, hospitality for guests, Eid, or simply a family that prefers to buy a whole animal and fill a freezer once instead of buying meat weekly. The work is the same either way. The animal is handled calmly before slaughter, kept away from the sight of other animals being slaughtered, and the knife is sharpened out of sight. The name of Allah is said, the throat and blood vessels are cut in a single pass, and the carcass is left to bleed fully before any cutting starts. Then it is hung, skinned, dressed and cut to your instruction — whole, halves, quarters, standard cuts or small cooking pieces — weighed on camera, bagged, labelled and chilled. Offal, head and trotters are kept or excluded as you say. You receive video and the meat on the same day.

What makes a slaughter correct
The requirements scholars list are specific and practical: the slaughter is by a Muslim, the name of Allah is said at the moment of slaughter, the knife is sharp enough to cut quickly and is not sharpened in front of the animal, the throat and its blood vessels are cut, and the animal is treated mercifully before and during. Animals are not slaughtered in view of one another. Nothing in this list is a formality — each point is a step that either happened or did not, and the video exists so you can see that it did.
Sheep, goat or calf
Sheep is the default request in Cairo, usually Baladi or Barqi. Goat is chosen for its flavour and for particular dishes. A calf is a different scale of order: it is what large families, building-wide gatherings and freezer-filling households ask for, and it needs more notice because the cutting alone takes far longer than a sheep. We will tell you plainly which animal suits the number of people you are feeding instead of selling you the largest one.
Barqi and Baladi lambs
Barqi is a hardy breed that originates from Egypt's north-western coast, around the Marsa Matrouh region, and eastern Libya. Families ask for it by name for its flavour, and it is typically leaner and smaller-framed than heavier breeds. Baladi lamb is the broader everyday category and is what most orders use. We will not quote invented statistics about either; if you want a specific breed, say so at booking and we confirm availability from the partner farms before taking the order.
Eid al-Adha and udhiyah
Around Eid the constraint is not animals, it is hours. Slaughter has to happen inside a narrow window that thousands of families want at once, so bookings made weeks ahead are the ones that get a confirmed time. If you are arranging an udhiyah from abroad for a family in Cairo, the video matters even more, and we can deliver the whole animal to the household you name without it coming to you at all.

Islamic guidance

Is the slaughter halal?

How long does the whole process take?
Slaughter itself is quick; bleeding, dressing and careful cutting are what take the time, and a calf takes far longer than a sheep. We give you a delivery window when we confirm the slaughter hour.
Do you include the offal and head?
Only if you ask. Liver, kidney, heart, head and trotters are kept aside and bagged separately when requested, and left out entirely when not.
How much meat comes from one sheep?
It varies with the animal, its breed and its condition, so we weigh on camera and tell you the real figure rather than quote a yield percentage we cannot stand behind for your specific animal.
